I didn't really have too many expectations going in. I kind of went in with an open mind to learn new tips and tricks which were definitely met! I would describe Eman’s teaching style to be very open and honest which I appreciate, sometimes you rather hear things straight then have someone sugar coat things in a nice way. Eman was very helpful and friendly and she made it super easy from day 1 to feel comfortable around her even though I was always a little intimidated haha. I 1000% felt encouraged, supported and guided during the program, it was just right and whenever I felt like it was going too fast Eman did a great job at letting me relax and learn to take my time. The hands- on experience helped me way more than I did learning tips and tricks from videos online as I am a visual learner so seeing everything in person helped me gain more knowledge. I feel way more confident compared to when I started. There are still days where I second guess myself but that's just me, however now when I am editing or delivering a gallery I feel so much more confident and proud of myself and the new skills I have learned.
The program exceeded my expectations. I wasn't expecting the level of detail put into the modules and the sessions to really educate on the camera itself, the way to take pictures and the importance of everything to do with photography before even getting to the editing. I'm a visual learner, so I appreciated Eman communicating things in person, showing me examples and having my practice with her there to guide me. I also appreciated having the modules available to me after the session to refer back to and use as a reference guide. Eman is a natural teacher and it shows how educated she is in your own field. She answered questions before I even had to ask them. It shows that Eman has taken the time to really hone this program, and she demonstrated a real confidence and flow throughout teaching each session. I felt that she was really well prepared and that made it feel more confident for me to learn along the way. I think Eman’s course as designed is beautiful and the modules provided are so well laid out and organized - I can keep referring to them and I can understand and hear her explanations as I'm reading them. I also want to commend Eman again for the knowledge she clearly possesses. I have taken master classes and programs for other industries and I can comfortably say that she has been by far the only instructor that exudes a true education behind her craft and passion for sharing her knowledge.
This program was the first milestone to kickstarting my photography business. I started out with minimal knowledge of photography or what it took to compose photos that reflected not only the event I was capturing, but also my passion for photography. To say this program exceeded my expectations is an understatement for what this program taught me. The 1:1 mentoring allowed me to retain information and obtain knowledge at a beginner level suitable for me. Seeing Eman’s work and the passion she holds is what ensured me that I would be in a great mentor's hands. Eman was a mix of many teaching styles that fit it in when appropriate, she was hands on with directing camera positioning, able to step back and allow me to hone in on the skill I was learning. We had sit down sessions to go over content which I found very valuable for 1:1 questions. The pace of the program was just right and I loved the mix of the program! Having the knowledge portion helped me to understand and ask questions about it and then hands on practice was a perfect mix! And most importantly, she was patient and kind with someone who is brand new in this field and made me feel comfortable and increased my confidence in my passion. Her kindness and guidance was what kept me wanting to keep learning even when I felt like giving up.
My expectations were to learn about my camera, refine my knowledge on using manual mode, gain confidence in meeting and posing clients, and learn about flash photography. My expectations were 100% exceeded as I learned not only everything I listed above, but so much more. I’ve learned more about myself and how to push myself to do better which ultimately makes me a better photographer. Eman’s teaching style was a bit blended but mainly hands on/demonstrative. This was very helpful for retaining information as I got to watch a demonstration and then complete it myself, whether that be posing a couple, editing photos, or understanding my camera settings. I was very nervous before starting but Eman was there every step of the way to make sure I was supported but also pushed me enough to learn. I am so grateful for the guidance and the patience. The hands-on experience is what made this program really worthwhile for me as I am a very visual learner so I like to see things done first and then complete the same task. I was very nervous and intimidated when I first started and although I still get nervous, I am now confident using my camera and am better at trusting myself to know what settings and poses to use. This is huge for me as I struggle with confidence so I am very grateful to Eman for believing in me. Eman is truly the best mentor and I can just tell she wants everyone to succeed, which is quite rare! I’m so glad I trusted my gut and did this program :) I’ve learned so much in the span of a few months which would’ve taken me years to learn independently. So grateful!
I had a really good experience with Eman. I learned so much in a short amount of time, way more than I would have on my own. My expectations going in were to build a solid foundation, and the program definitely met and exceeded that. I really liked Eman’s teaching style. She explains things clearly and makes everything feel approachable. I appreciated that everything was in-person and hands-on because that matches how I learn best. I definitely connected with the way the information was taught. I always felt supported, and I really liked that she guided me through sessions instead of just telling me what to do. The hands-on approach made everything click for me and helped me understand concepts so much faster.I feel so much more confident. I wasn’t even a beginner when I started; I was literally just starting out. The program really helped me feel comfortable and capable. Thank you for putting so much effort into the mentorship. I really appreciate the time, the guidance, and the hands-on teaching. It made a huge difference for me.
